However our tester found the auto lock to be a bit confusing and as the handlebar wasn't locked into position when you press it, it landed on her legs when she used it. She also felt the handlebar was a little shorter than she would like and especially with the large changing bag hanging off of it.
Unlike other lightweight travel buggies it doesn't sacrifice features and is among the most feature-packed double strollers on the market. It's compatible with two carrycots (available separately) and has various recline positions, and an UV 50+ canopy. You can also add a bassinet to one or both seats to transform it into a travel set-up.
The four tires made of rubber are great for pavements and urban terrain. However, they were not designed for off-roading. They had trouble with gravel and long grass and there was not enough clearance between the wheel bracket and the wheel which meant that mud could get stuck easily. Our testers loved this buggy, and it was able to climb pretty dirt hills.

Our testers found the Nipper Double was incredibly easy to maneuver, even taking on uneven ground or turning swiftly in an area with a lot of traffic. They were also awed by the fact that both seats recline independently, meaning they can be adjusted to fit the individual's needs. This is ideal for napping.
The hoods were also easy to adjust for wind or sun protection. They didn't provide the same coverage as Baby Jogger City Mini Hoods. It's probably worth carrying an additional rain cover in the case.
Overall, our testers were impressed with the way the Nipper Double made it possible for them to take their twins Sydney and Lyla to all sorts of adventures, from seeing wildlife in the woods, to rushing to the park to play with their friends. They were also impressed by how comfortable and spacious the two seats are with plenty of room for toddlers growing to play in. The lack of parent facing seating and the inability of using a car seats on this buggy were both noted as a disadvantage by our test participants. They would also have preferred a larger storage space for shopping and other gear.
